Jukung Basket
An attractive purun basket in simple rectangular form, Jukung offers convenience and modern aesthetics in one functional storage. As envisioned by our master designer Eugenio Hendro, the unique shape is inspired by the traditional boats commonly used by the women weavers of South Kalimantan. This handmade item from purun with matching lid is highly flexible and completely natural, making it the most ideal container for food items, linens and all other essentials. Whether on full display or neatly tucked away in shelves, this box keeps everything neat and well-protected. Support our purun crafts today and show you care about peatlands where purun grows, for the sake of environment, our climate and the next generation.
